Hillary is the chief operations officer at JS and the lead technical expert. Hillary has experience in facilitation, capacity development, research, marketing, policy formulation, and implementation, strategy development, resilience, food systems among others. In the recent past, Hillary Nyanganga has verse experience working with USAID-funded projects. Most recently in 2021, he conducted a Baseline survey on the knowledge and use of Collaborative Learning and Adapting approaches (CLA) at the county level in Garissa, Wajir, Turkana, Marsabit, Isiolo, Samburu, Taita Taveta, Kitui, and Makueni. This assignment was done under USAID Resilience Learning Activity (RLA). Moreover, he also led the design and implementation of the CLA innovators course in ALL the PREG counties. The activity targeted Civil Society Organizations (CSO). This activity was also done under the RLA. As the CEO, Hillary is responsible for not only giving direction to the company in terms of product portfolio but also managing the operation, overseeing the financial management, and providing the technical backstopping. Hillary holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Information and Communication, A master’s in agricultural communication and knowledge management, and a bachelor of science in Agricultural Economics. Hillary is also a lecturer and consultant at the University of Nairobi.
